“We have decided to embark on this project to after with Pro-Phalombe on challenges paced by the hospital with frequent power outages. We noted that key role the hospital plays in the provision of quality health services in the district,” he said

In his remarks, Vicar General Father Boniface Tamani said the solar equipment is one of big projects at the hospital.

“The project has fixed the electric problems the hospital was experiencing and with the with 60KW , blackouts will be thing of the past.  We are able to run hospital equipment in theaters without any excuse

“The frequent blackouts also affected the hospital water supply as the hospital uses submersible electricity pump which means that once power supply is off the hospital would have to out to source the services from central hospitals at a cost,” he said.
