Finca Malawi rolls out new promotion

Finca Malawi on Monday rolled out Kufewa ndi Finca Promotion to encourage a saving culture.

Speaking during the launch in Blantyre, Finca Malawi marketing manager Takondwa Chirwa said they are encouraging their customers to save their earnings in either Phindu or Fixed Deposit accounts.

She said: “Currently, customers are struggling amid rising cost of living with an increase in fuel price and high inflation rate.

“We are offering relief with soft, flexible and beneficial savings solutions to our customers. Through our savings account, customers can make the best of their earnings and earn high interest rate, but also a chance to win cash prizes each month.”

Chirwa further said customers can open an account with K1 000 and save their earnings without monthly charges.

“With our fixed deposit account, we offer lucrative interest rates with optional upfront interest. This means customers can cash out the interest and use it as working capital,” she said.

During the three-month promotion, one lucky customer stands a chance to win the grand prize of K300 000 while others will win monthly prizes of K100 000, K50 000, K20 000 and other consolation prizes.

To enter the promotion, which runs from July 4 to September 30, existing customers need to maintain a minimum balance of K50 000 for at least a month in a fixed deposit account or deposit at least K20 000 in a new or existing Phindu Savings Account and maintain it for at least one month.
