Frank Chimpanzi makes comeback with two singles
Gospel musician Frank Chimpanzi is back with two more singles following the release of his initial comeback single Yesu Aliko. The two new singles, titled Tiye and Ofana Naye, are taken from his new live DVD recording Something New.
In an interview, the artist said the live recording of the DVD is scheduled for April 29 at Golden Peacock Hotel in Blantyre.
“Tiye is a vibrant song loaded with energy that will keep you on the dance floor. It is a joyful call to God’s house,” he said.
The artist said the second single Ofana Naye is a declaration that there is no one like Jesus.
He said the unique harmonic blending of voices and the anointing the song carries will take one deeper into the presence of God.
Reacting to the news, Chimpanzi’s fan Blessings Banda said judging from the first single released, he has hope that the two new singles will equally be good.
“Chimpanzi is one of the best gospel musicians we have in Malawi. This comeback is exciting,” he said. Chimpanzi’s DVD live recording will feature Faith Mussa, Simplice Bless and Wakhu Kaluwa.
