Gaba ready to feature for Bullets on Saturday
Big Bullets red-hot forward Gabadinho Mhango has said he is ready to feature in tomorrow’s TNM Super League match against Mafco at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Speaking on arrival from South Africa where he spent almost a month attending trials with three PSL clubs, the Bullets talisman said he is fit to play.
“I will definitely be available for selection because I think two training days with the team are enough. So, should the coaches consider me, I will play.
“After all, I was training during the time I was in South Africa and it shouldn’t be a problem,” he said.
Asked whether he missed the People’s Team, Gabadinho said: “Not at all. I didn’t miss Bullets because my focus was on the trials. I went there for a purpose and there was nothing like missing fame and the like; this was about my future.
“As I said it was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to being signed by either Amazulu or Bloemfontein Celtic.”
Apart from Amazulu and Celtic, Gabadinho also attended brief trials at Free State Stars.
According to the player himself, facilitator of the trials Patrick Mabedi and Bullets general secretary Higger Mkandawire, Amazulu have expressed interest to sign him on loan.
