South Africa based professional Gabadinho Mhango says he is not panicking over his Bidvest Wits future after falling down the pecking order.

The former Nyasa Big Bullets striker has been sidelined in the Bidvest’s starting line-up this season and he was unused substitute in the team’s two-all draw league game against Golden Arrows on Wednesday.

Gabadinho: I have one year on my current contract

Speaking in a telephone interview from South Africa yesterday Gabadinho says his future is bound by the contract.
“I am not panicking because I have one year on my current contract at Bidvest. All I am doing is working hard and I know I will get back my [starting] position in the team,” he said.

He also said his coach Gavin Hunt knows better why he was not featured in the games after scoring in the game against Black Leopards a week ago.
The Malawian was featured as 75th substitute and scored a late goal for his first of the season.

Bidvest are now second with 24 points, three behind league leaders Orlando Pirates who have played two more games.
But he told KickOff.com that he was thrilled to get a rare run against Black Leopards in the Absa Premiership.

“Last game I played was eight minutes or 10 minutes I think and it was against SuperSport, and this game I played about 15 minutes.
“I thank God because it’s been long since I’ve been on the pitch. I just thank God man. Yeah, for me as a player it’s important for me to be playing games, so I just hope to be part of the team again and start playing games,” Mhango told KickOff.com.

The Malawian is also keen on a move to Portugal after undergoing trials at top league side Vitoria Setubal.
