I am saved, but hubby loves sexy clothes, what should I do?
Dear BMW,
I was the typical sexy wife until 10 months ago when I got saved. I received the Holy Spirit.
While my husband is happy that I have stopped drinking and staying out with the girls all night, the fact that I have discarded sexy thongs for what my hubby disdainfully calls ‘mothers union’ underwear, has not gone down too well.
Yesterday while we were hanging out, he asked me if I could dress up (in lingerie type stuff) a bit more for him whenever we’re going to bed. This is something that’s in the past for me. These days, fancy lingerie makes me uncomfortable/ embarrassed.
But apparently with him, being saved is not good enough reason to deny him some sexy stuff. He says he doesn’t find my ‘mothers union’ clothes sexually attractive. Is this the sort of thing I could discuss with my pastor?

On a serious note though, I don’t think he’s telling you that you’re not sexy. I think he’ll just like it if you add some lacey attributes to your own sex appeal. Think of it more as an added bonus to him. Everyone has different things/ activities they like in bed. Why not give it a go for him and see how you like it?
My advice to you is never underestimate the power of ka half petticoat, kanthu kaja anakonza and most men go crazy with it. Your man may not have asked correctly but I think that it’s really healthy for him to be open about what he likes. It means he wants to communicate his wants and needs, and he wants to further connect with you.
