ECG-TheJesus Nation Church founder and general overseer Shepherd Bushiri yesterday announced an upcoming men’s conference scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Lilongwe.
Addressing a press conference, he emphasized that the conference aims to empower men to take their rightful place as leaders and transformers of their communities.
“As a ministry, we believe that apart from salvation, we have a responsibility to transform communities,” Bushiri said. “This cannot happen through lip service, but by finding solutions and being beacons of hope.”
The prophet emphasized that men must take dominion over their lives, families and communities, citing Genesis 1:28, which states that God gave man dominion over the earth.
However, he noted that this dominion cannot be achieved through prayer and fasting alone, but requires wisdom, knowledge and action.
The conference, which is open to men locally and globally, will feature topics such as navigating economic crises, setting up resilient businesses, and re-writing business models for the 21st century.
High-profile speakers, including business tycoon Dr. Napoleon Nazombe, Bushiri and Minister of Finance, will address the conference.
Bushiri promised the conference will “disrupt norms” and set participants apart as leaders and transformers of their communities.
“It’s time for men to be real men and take their rightful place,” he said. “We must dominate according to scripture, not just through fasting and praying, but by taking action.”
