In an interview, King Chambiecco said the decision was part of his efforts to promote local young up-and-coming artists and appreciating new talent.

“These young artists are sidelined in many cases, but when it comes to music advancement their work is important. And again, let’s give them much love and support,” he said.

He added: “Basically, when doing collaborations, I’m not really fussy on whether one is an established artist or up-and-coming. As long as it is a good song with great message, I’ll definitely jump into it.”

“I believe that artists who are starting should be supported because they want to be successful in music. I have to be the first person to help people out,” said the Kuli Luso hitmaker.

On his part, Methix described the project as a milestone in his music career, saying it will take him to another level.

“I believe this is the beginning of a new chapter in the music journey. I am also working with a South African record label called Moonlight to distribute and market my music,” said the rapper.
