You cannot celebrate the birth of Living Waters Church without associating it with its founder and president Apostle Dr Stanley Ndovie, the man who, after hearing a call from God to start ministry, made a bold decision to obey and do the noble work.

So when the church recently celebrated its 28th anniversary, Ndovie’s figure loomed large at the ceremony held at the church’s headquarters in Chimwankhunda, Blantyre.

“In obedience to the vision which God gave me, we held our first meeting as Living Waters Church on 5th January, 1985, at Mpingwe in Blantyre. Brethren, the road has not been easy, full of fights, wonders, but all in all we have seen the grace of God and the Lord has taken us this far,” said Ndovie during the function.

The celebrations were decorated by praise and worship music from Allan Chirwa, Faith Mussa, Bangwe Living Waters Sunday School, Chimwankhunda Worship Team, Eliza Kachale Kaunda, Enock Priminta and Reverend Stowell Kumwenda.
