Livingstonia coach Eston Sikwizi said they have now switched their focus to winning the national FAM Cup.

“It was a tough competition as we were drawn against strong teams like Parachute and Tourism who were hot contenders. We are now looking forward to grabbing the FAM Cup,” he said.

To qualify for the finals, Livingstonia beat Parachute and Tourism 7-2 and 5-2, respectively while Area 30 Police ousted Lakeside and Dowa 3-1 and 11-1 in that order.

Livingstonia received a trophy and K250 000 while Area 30 Police got K150 000.
Area 30 had a consolation with striker Phillip Masiye, who also plays for Blue Eagles FC, winning the Golden Boot Award with eight goals. He received K30 000.

Central Region Beach Soccer (CRBS) general secretary Charles Mwenda said the competition has exposed a lot of talent.
