Lulu and Kell Kay to perform for mothers

Musicians Lulu and Kell Kay will stage a pre-Mother’s Day show at Octagon Tower at Namiasi in Mangochi on Friday to give mothers a special honour for their role and achievements.

Octagon Tower manager Stern Luwani told Malawi News Agency on Tuesday that the show will provide the mothers good music that captures their uniqueness.

“We want to treat our mothers in a special way because of their parental love and care,” he said.  

Luwani, therefore, encouraged people to patronise the show with their mothers, saying Octagon Tower will also serve them a variety of food at reasonable prices as Lulu and Kell Kay will be entertaining them throughout the night.

In a separate interview, Lulu said he was excited to perform at the Octagon Tower for the Mother’s Day celebration.

The musician also promised to perform new songs.

He said: “I will perform to satisfy the mothers and the entire audience.”

Lulu is also expected to launch his album at Lilongwe Golf Club on October 23 and will be supported by Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz.
