Lutan Fyah finally in!

After failing to make it for his two booked flights this week, Jamaican reggae music artist Lutan Fyah finally arrived through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) on Thursday afternoon.

Anxiety started creeping among music lovers in the country when again the reggae artist failed to arrive in the country on Wednesday as promised by the organisers of the planned shows after it was reported that he had missed his initial booking on Tuesday.

So when the reggae artist touched down at around 12:45pm aboard a South African Airways flight, relief was the prevalent emotion for both the organisers and fans who had bought their tickets inadvance.

Lutan Fyah is expected to hold his first show on Friday in Blantyre at Robin’s Park before holding his final show at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday.

“In Malawi now and live in Lilongwe.Blantyre people check me out tomorrow [Friday]. Be there because I am here,”the reggae star said in a video clip that he posted on social media upon his arrival in Lilongwe before he connected to Blantyre.

During the shows he will be joined South African-based artist Skeleton Blazer and Reign Africa. On the local front he will supported by Chileka-reggae kings Black Missionaries Band.
