Makhadzi safe after accident
South African Afro-dance musician Makhadzi has assured her fans that she is on course to recovery after she was involved in a car accident on Saturday.
According to her management team, Makhadzi Entertainment, The South African award-winning artist was involved in the accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of December 31 2025 and was subsequently admitted to the hospital until Monday.
After being discharged, Makhazi shared a statement via her Facebook page in which she thanked her fans for the love and support rendered to her during her difficult time.

She said: “To all my lovely khadzinators, my fans. I feel a need to update you about my health at this point because of the love and support you have been showing me, not only in South Africa, but all my followers globally.
“I am now discharged from the hospital so that my family can take care of me until I get back to normal.”
The Ghanama hit-maker said due to injuries, doctors have advised her not to perform for 10 weeks. The artist said she knows herself as a soldier and believes that God will do a miracle on her way to recovery.
“I won’t be performing but I will be in studio doing what he saved me for and also not forgetting to thank him for giving me a second chance to breathe,” she said.
Yesterday, she shared a picture of her in hospital with a caption: “I knew the moment God saved me that this was not my home. I fought and I am still fighting. I am a winner.”
Makhazi is no stranger to Malawi having performed in the country more than three times. She has headlined the Sand Music Festival on two occasions where she wowed audiences with her energetic stage presence.
Her music enjoys massive popularity both in entertainment joints and in media outlets. She was born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona and she is from Limpopo in South Africa.
