Malawi’s renowned urban musician Maskal intends to releasing a single and shoot a video during his performances in the United Kingdom. The tour has been organised by Miss Malawi UK organisers.

In an interview, the Zili ndi Iwe star said he has made the decision with the aim of giving his fans in the UK an opportunity to listen to the music first.

“It is very rare for a Malawian artist to perform outside the country, so I want to take this chance to show the people what I am capable of doing,” he said.

Maskal said releasing the single outside the country does not mean that he has left out his Malawian fans as locals will sample the single just after the UK release.

The artist will perform the single alongside his other music on November 30 at Iqbar Banqueting Suit in Birmingham and in Glasgow a week later.

After the concerts, Maskal will complete the shooting of the Kudzagwa Mvula video which he started shooting in Cape Town, South Africa where he went to perform in October.

He said he choose to shoot the video as it has garnered a lot of listernership by people across the country.

“I want to give people a good video of Kudzagwa Mvula as it is one of the songs in my album that a lot of people are in love with. I am doing this because I want to show my fans that I acknowledge the support they give me by providing them a good video of their favourite song,” he explained.
