Masters FC appoint Kevin Moyo as CEO

Lilongwe-based FDH Bank Premiership outfit Masters Football Club, formerly Baka City, have appointed ex-FCB Nyasa Bullets commercial manager Kevin Moyo as chief executive officer (CEO).

Masters FC acting CEO Christopher Njeula yesterday confirmed the development just a day after Moyo parted ways with Bullets.

“It is true. Moyo will be the club’s CEO for the next three years. All the processes regarding his contract have been finalised,” he said.

Moyo, a former sports journalist who worked with MBC Television, has joined Masters on a three-year contract.

Njeula said they believe that Moyo’s vast experience as a football administrator and his education background will help advance the club’s ambitions of becoming one of the biggest football clubs in the country.

On his part, Moyo, who worked with Bullets for nine years, said he could not comment on his new appointment.

Masters FC bought the slot that belonged to Karonga-based Baka City in the elite league and is expected to fight for honours in the 2026 FDH Premiership.
