Malawi Congress of Trade Union (MCTU) Secretary General Pontius Kalichero, is the latest winner in the on-ongoing Multichoice Malawi’s DStv rewards promotion.

In the promotion, the digital satellite provider is rewarding its customers who have not

been disconnected for the past three months with K1 million (about $2 500) each week.

Kalichero is the 8th winner and five more customers are set to join the lucky few instant millionaires.

“I am dumb founded to be an instant millionaire and this is my biggest surprise ever. When Multichoice people called me they said they have a small gift and I must admit it never occurred to me that I can win despite knowing of the promotion,” said Kalichero in an interview soon after getting his dummy cheque.

“As regards how I will spend the money, I am empty, therefore, I will have to sit down and think over it. But I will give God first,” he said.

Kalichero who runs two accounts on premium and compact plus bouquets, has been a DSTV subscriber since 2000.
