Mlaka enters 2013 on high

Mlaka Maliro entered the second year as a gospel star in style. The Dzanja la Lemba star (R) mesmerised fans during the launch of the DVD of his first gospel album, Hossana in Lilongwe.

The release comprises Ndisiye, Landisani Moyo, Sindilola, Ndinu Woyera, Nd’alile Yesu and Chala cha Mulungu.  On Ndisiye, the one-time bestseller has nothing to do with drunkenness and other earthly things typical of his secular past. Today, he is one of the regulars when it comes to ‘Best of the Best’ shows in town. So was the launch at Sheaffer Marquee. He co-starred with Great Angels Choir, Allan Chirwa, Evance Mereka, George Mkandawire, Peter Mlangeni, Marvellous Deeds and Limbani Simenti. – FRANKIE KALILOMBE, Correspondent
