Afrimax chief executive officer Kamar Abass said part of the partnership entails that the artist will promote the company’s brand to his  followers across Malawi with an initial focus on Blantyre and Lilongwe.

Abass said: “We are very new in the country so we are hoping that by partnering with Patience, we will tap into his audience and that his audience will also appreciate that we also stand for the values that his brand represents.”

He further said though the initial agreement is only for a year, they are open to further renewals which will be guided by the targets and objectives which will be met during the duration of their working partnership.

According to communication from the company, the partnership will be visible across the artist’s social media pages as he highlights the features and benefits of Afrimax’s unique unlimited high-speed Internet data proposition and how they are transforming his brand.

In his remarks the artist said his signing up with Afrimax is an important step in his career and brand which are constantly being expanded to maximise his reach, effectiveness and productivity. He said it is a huge privilege for him as such opportunities in the industry are rare.

“Growth is what defines this partnership. It is growth not just for me as an individual artist but the whole music industry. I believe some corporates out there will also embrace the opportunities that such partnerships bring and get on board other artists as well,” he said. Namadingo said he believes that by the end of the agreement, the parties involved will have achieved much growth  as brands working towards one goal.
