Lilongwe-based hip-hop musician, Gwamba, has released a new song titled Bola Kusache in which he features his label mate Nesnes.

The song, which went on the airwaves on Tuesday, is in Gwamba’s yet-to-be-titled album to be released early next year.

Bola Kusache

is about a young boy who does not want to get up from his sleep to face the hardships in life. He is afraid of getting back to his poor life of no food, no clothes and other basic needs.

Produced and recorded by BFB in Lilongwe, the hit introduces listeners to new lyrics of urban music.

“It is a product of team work and exposes great experiences from the artists. The song carries relevant messages about poverty and I personally call it a cry of the poor,” said producer BFB.

He adds: “When Nesnes sings the chorus, he adds more weight to Gwamba’s already heavy flow, which I did not expect Gwamba to deliver. It is a professional combination that complements the other.”

According to Edward Kankhomba of Prime Time Media, a company that manages Gwamba and Nesnes, the two artists are currently busy in studios working on their new albums.

Gwamba is one of the promising hip-hop artists in the country and still keeping him in fame are singles Kwacha Chaser, Tikakumane Kumadzi, Carina ya Mdala and Sindingasiye Bawa. Nesnes is also on the rise. His singlesChidodo, Wina Watenga, Wabodza and It’s not Fair are enjoying good airtime on local radios.
