Nice Trust mobilises voters in Nsanje District to register
National Initiative for Civic Education (Nice) Trust Nsanje programmes officer Kondwani Malunga has encouraged eligible voters in the district to register in large numbers to vote in the September 16 2025 General Elections.
He said this on Sunday at Namilembe Primary School in Ruo Ward in Nsanje North Constituency during a voter registration mobilisation exercise.

Malunga reminded people that registration started on November 28 and will end tomorrow, therefore, those who have not yet registered should utilise the remaining days.
He said that in 2019 Malawians voted for ward councillor, member of Parliament and President.
Said Malunga: “Now is the time to take stock on how the elected leaders have performed. If you are satisfied with their performance, register in large numbers and vote for them to continue.
“If you are not, register in large numbers and vote to change.”
He said Nice Trust was using roadshows, football bonanzas and radio programmes, among others to mobilise people to register.
In his remarks, Malawi Electoral Commission civic and voter education assistant Jane Likoswe asked the citizens to avoid wearing party colours when going to register.
She also said national identity cards (IDs) cannot be used to vote, but voter certificates.
One of the potential voters, Jennifer Nyalugwe, hailed Nice Trust for reminding them to register.
“We will register because we want to vote for leaders who will facilitate development in our area,” she said.
With funding from the European Union and United Nations Development Programme, Nice Trust is implementing Boma Lathu Project to strengthen efficiency and effectiveness of civil registration services, among others.
