Nigerian award-winning R ‘n’ B duo of Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, have confirmed their tour of Malawi next month, which will see the identical twins performing at Lilongwe Golf Club.

The group, popular for songs such as Forever, Chop My Money, Beautiful Onyinye and Alingo, will perform at the golf course on March 15, courtesy of the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

Their Experience Malawi Gig is a pre-concert ahead of the AMAA nominations scheduled to take place the following day.

In a video advert posted on youtube on Tuesday evening and shared on AMMA Facebook page, P-Square made it clear that they are determined to come to the Warm Heart of Africa for the first time.

“Malawi, are you ready?” asks Peter, and Paul responds, “We are ready. We will be performing live on Friday, March 15 2013 at the Lilongwe Golf Club.”

The development follows an announcement made recently at a news conference in Lilongwe that Malawi had been chosen to host this year’s AMAA Nominations, an opportunity that will see the country hosting film makers and celebrities from different parts of Africa.

The nominations are an event where films that make it into the 25 categories of the awards are announced ahead of the main award ceremony expected to be held in April in Lagos, Nigeria.
