Weeks after releasing Momo, rapper Phyzix has released the official music video for the song about the love a man has for a complete woman—Wazonse Momo.

The video tells a story of two people from distinct backgrounds falling in love. It shows a rich woman who goes to a garage to have her car serviced but ends up getting cosy with the mechanic.

Phyzix: The song is doing very well

In an interview, Phyzix said the song is doing very well both locally and internationally.

“We have received massive support from club DJs and radio stations asking for it plus fans talking about it. Even Zambians are asking for it and some have it. I am marketing my music there,” he said.

On featuring Zembani Band’s dancehall artist Nepman who of late has been quiet, Phyzix said he was the right voice for the song.

“I was gifted with the skill of being able to marry the right people to the right song. So from the word go, I knew he was the right person for the song and he killed it so much,” he said.

In a separate interview, Nepman said he is enjoying the response the song is getting.

“From the reviews and social media comments, it seems we have hit the right chord with the fans,” he said.

The song is lifted from Phyzix’s latest album Flaws which has other tracks such as Kuthwanima and Beautiful.
