Standard Bank hosts Lifestyle 24/7 Golf in Nchalo
Standard Bank returns to the Nchalo Golf Club tomorrow where golfers will sweat it out for the top honours of its annual invitational tournament dubbed Lifestyle 24/7.
This is the second major tournament to be sponsored by the bank this year after the Blantyre invitational in May.
The bank’s head of Marketing Chimwemwe Matonga said this weekend’s invitational is a special occasion for the bank to showcase its electronic channels platform aimed to provide ease of banking to its customers.
Among others, the bank is expected to showcase the smart phone finance package with Samsung, dubbed Lifestyle 24/7. The package is backed by the bank’s recently upgraded information technology (IT) platform for Internet-based business and personal banking services.
“Saturday’s Lifestyle 24/7 golf tournament is in line with the bank’s current offer of Samsung high-end smart phones that are enjoying integration with our improved IT platforms. What this means is that with these smart phones that Standard Bank is offering on credit, our customers can enjoy uninterrupted Internet-based banking,” he said.
Matonga said the Nchalo invitational gives golfers an opportunity to sample benefits of the smart phone package and the bank’s new Business Online (onBol) service which on the other hand is a platform that caters for corporate clients.
