Sunbird Capital in special ladies’ treat
As Malawi celebrates mothers in a special way over the weekend one of the country’s hospitality stables Sunbird Tourism Plc has organised a special treat for ladies at Capital Hotel in Lilongwe tonight.
According to group sales and marketing manager Levie Nkunika, the event has been dubbed as ‘A special night for special ladies’.
Major events for the night are dinner, dance and motivation talk by Dr. Margaret Kubwalo-Chaika, who is a mother, an accomplished professional and currently working as head of personal and business banking at Standard Bank. She will inspire the ladies with her personal, academic and professional journey.
Said Nkunika: “The Sunbird Ladies Nights have become popular signature events at some of Sunbird’s hotels and this year’s event at Sunbird Capital is geared to deliver a night of fun, fashion, food and relaxation for the ladies.”
He added that patrons will walk away with prizes from various sponsors such as Face Forward, Chipiku, Akbanies and Kapani.
Nkunika added that Sunbird would like to show some appreciation to mothers because they are special.
“Sunbird believes in celebrating and honouring mothers, motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. Mothers are special therefore deserve a special treat. We have therefore lined up a number of activities in all our hotels and resorts,” he said. n
