70th annual Golden Globe awards on DStv
Tipped as one of the biggest nights in Hollywood, the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live to DStv audiences on M-Net Movies Premiere, channel 103, on Monday 14 January at 03:00 CAT.
The awards are set to recognise excellence displayed by actors and actresses in film and television.
Topping the nomination list this year is the American historical drama, Lincoln in the film categories with seven nominations and political drama film, Game Change leading with five nominations in the television categories. D’jango Unchained, Argo and Homeland are also among the most nominated in the overall list of nominees.
The Awards will mainly be presented by 30 Rock actress, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler from Parks & Recreation. In addition, Kerry Washington, Nathan Fillion, Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez, Kristen Wiig, Jeremy Renner, Amanda Seyfried and Will Ferrell have also been announced as guest presenters.
DStv viewers will also be able to see the rescreening of the awards on different channels.
