Jibs Security flies Chidaleto Uganda
Home-grown security firm Jibs Security Services has flown Malawi’s top ranked professional golfer Paul Chidale to Kampala, Uganda for the 88th Edition of the Johnny Walker Uganda Open.
The tournament tees-off tomorrow with a Pro-Am event, before the main professional showdown gets underway on Thursday. Over 100 golfers from across the continent have registered for the tournament.
Chidale said in an interview before departure on Sunday that he was optimistic of doing well.
“I’m excited to have my name on the list. It’s a big field and a big tournament and I’m going there to represent Malawi and do my best,” he said.

Chidale thanked Jibs Security for its continued support towards professional golfers.
Jibs Security Services managing director Innocent Chikoko said the company was proud to partner with the Professional Golfers Association of Malawi on local activities and did not hesitate to support Chidale.
He said: “Chidale is the biggest brand in Malawi in terms of professional golf at the moment and as a versatile security solutions company, we are glad to partner with him as we grow Jibs across Africa.
“We have been doing our market research in some neighbouring countries such as Uganda for our own expansion and we believe in supporting excellence.”
The Uganda Open is one of East Africa’s oldest and most prestigious golf tournaments and Chidale’s participation is expected to raise Malawi’s profile on the regional golf circuit.
