All set for double header boxing fiesta

Mulanje Last Boxing Promotions has said all is set for the double header this Sunday at New Nkhwazi Lodge in Newlands, Blantyre.

Boniface Stenala will take to the ring against George Kandulu while Tinkhani Kamanga will trade punches with Aubrey Masamba in super flyweight bouts.

The supporting bout will be between Ceasar Fatchi and Ralph Zeka

Kandulu will be making in the professional ranks while his opponent Stenala boasts seven professional bouts. He has won four, drawn two and lost one. Kamanga has won all his three bouts while Masamba’s record stands at five wins, two draws and two losses.

The stable’s director Mike Chitenje said the entertainment will be compelling and fans are assured of exciting bouts that will keep them on the edge of their seats.

“Everything pertaining to the boxing fiesta has been finalised and all the boxers are ready for the bouts and in shape.

“I have been monitoring preparations so that spectators should not get a raw deal. I am satisfied that patrons will not be disappointed,” said Chitenje.

The bouts are being sponsored by Chombe Tea and Protofeeds.
