Bullets, Fischer confirm parting company
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and their immediate-past second assistant coach Fischer ‘Jahman’ Kondowe have confirmed parting ways.
In a statement released yesterday, the club said: “FCB Nyasa Big Bullets can confirm that Fischer Kondowe has left his position as second assistant coach by mutual consent.”
It says the People’s Team legend has been an integral part of the club both as a player and as a coach for more than two decades.
“The club extends its sencere gratitude to Fischer for his dedication and service to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and wishes him every success in his future endevours,” reads the statement.
In an interbview yesterday, Fischer confirmed his departure, but claimed that he was not aware of the reasons for his removal.
“I don’t know why I have been removed, maybe when I get the letter from the club, I will have a clear picture. But I can confirm that it is true,” he said.
The club has also not stated reasons for his departure.

The club says the dreadlocked former winger began his journey at the club with the youth team in 1996 before being promoted to the senior side two years later.
Following an illustrious playing career that took him to South Africa where he played in the Premier Soccer League for Black Leopards and Bloemfontein Celtic in between, Fischer rejoined Bullets in 2012 before hanging up his boots in 2022.
He was then roped in as fitness trainer by former coach Kallisto Pasuwa and at the start of the current season he was pronoted to the post of second assistant coach by current head coach Peter Mponda.
