Chisomo Children’s Club held an eight-day workshop in International Competence Development Programme (ICDP) in Blantyre. Chisomo Children’s Club child protection officer Louis Malajira said in an interview that ICDP focuses on psychosocial care for children. “We want to build their capacity on how best they can care for children,” he said. The training drew participants from Blantyre and some parts of the Southern Region. The training is funded by Norwegian ChurchAid.—BRENDA TWEA, Staff Reporter
