Creative agency sponsors energy conference

A Lilongwe-based creative agency, Queen Tenge Limited, has announced a K2.4 million sponsorship of the upcoming Renewable Energy Industries Association of Malawi (Reiama) Energy Conference.

In a statement, Queen Tenge, a firm that works with local artisans to promote sustainable locally made bags, clothing and artifacts, said it hoped the sponsorship will go a long way in promoting sustainable local companies such as hers.

Said Queen Tenge proprietor Linda Zamaere: “Timely interventions alternative energy solutions are provided to small businesses in minimising losses due to halts in production as the national demand for energy grows each passing year.”

On his part, Reiama president Soustain Chigalu, thanked the firm for the partnership, adding that his association is “looking at empowering local enterprises through circular financing and promoting the use of alternative renewable solutions”.
