Musician Dan Lu has been named as brand ambassador for a new eatery in Blantyre,Kameza Fried Chicken.
Kameza Fried Chicken and Dan Lu have signed a renewable two-year contract.
One of the eatery’s partners Neil Michael Ali said they settled for the artist due to his popularity.
“We hope with him we can advertise our meals and promotions through his social media pages,” he said.
Ali said their plan is to franchise their brand nationwide and they hope Dan Lu will be helpful in marketing their meals.
“We are also in the pipeline of introducing local cooked meals at standard prices. We also offer a variety of chicken options, beef and chicken burgers and many more,” he said.
On his part, Dan Lu said he is honoured to be chosen as the brand ambassador for the eatery.
“I will do my best to promote Kameza Friend Chicken. Their meals are awesome and I will relay the message to my fans and Malawians in general,” he said.
Dan Lu said he is looking forward to performing during the official launch of this place on Saturday.
“We will have an acoustic set and music lovers will have a great time. There will be other interesting activities too,” he said.
