Extension Gunners FC of Botswana have offered Silver Strikers 100 000 pula (K4 million) for Green Harawa, according to agent Monte.

Silver Strikers treasurer Fred Kalonga confirmed receiving the offer in an interview on Tuesday, but said they are yet to discuss the issue as a club.

“I am dealing directly with the concerned clubs and as a club we have received the offer, but I am yet to brief my chairperson and the general secretary so that they can call a meeting to discuss the issue,” said Kalonga.

He said the player who is also wanted by Township Rollers will also proceed to Durban South Africa after completing his trials at Police Eleven.

“What we are trying to do is to find the best offer, but we can safely say Harawa will play his football in Botswana next season,” said Kalonga.

Harawa, together with Chawanagwa Kawonga, Frank Banda, Blessings Tembo, Young Chimodzi Junior, Ndaziona Chatsalira and Charles Swini made a winning team at Silver last season. He was the club’s top joint goalscorer.

In the same year, he won a national team call up under coach Eddingtone Ng’onamo.
