FDH Bank bags four IMM excellence awards

FDH Bank plc says it is always motivating to be recognised for a job well done.

The bank’s head of marketing and communication Levie Nkunika said this in a statement yesterday in reaction to FDH Bank plc winning of four excellence awards during the Institute of Marketing Malawi (IMM) annual lakeshore conference held in Salima at the weekend.

He said: “As FDH Bank, we are truly honoured with the awards. It is always motivating to receive the recognition, a challenge to continue to work hard, to innovate and to unleash creativity for the benefit of our esteemed customers and stakeholders.”

Nkunika thanked the board and management of FDH Financial Holdings Limited, the parent company of Malawi Stock Exchange-listed FDH Bank plc, for the support and leadership rendered to the marketing team.

“We are also grateful to the progressive leadership of IMM that is year in year out raising the standards of the marketing profession,” he said.

The four awards are innovation idea of the year, marketing team of the year, internal engagement initiative of the year and outreach social marketing initiative of the year.

This year, the IMM lakeshore conference was held under the theme ‘From thriving to surviving: scaling towards excellence’.

This was the second edition of annual lakeshore conference since IMM transitioned from Chartered Institute of Marketing in Malawi in 2020.
