Information has new PS

Capital Hill has appointed the new principal secretary in the Ministry of Information and Civic Education. He is Luckie Sikwese and moves from Public Sector Reform Management where he was also principal secretary.

Sikwese confirmed the appointment in an interview on Wednesday. “I was appointed towards the end of last month. That is all I can say,” said Sikwese.

His appointment followed the death of the then principal secretary Anthony Livuza. Before Sikwese’s appointment, director of Information Grey Mang’anda was acting. The appointment comes in the wake of several movement of officials in government.

One of the prominent ones is that of veteran administrator Randson Mwadiwa who has been moved from Ministry of Finance.
