Khato Civils tips graduates on survival strategies
Khato Civils has called on Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA) graduates to embrace skills that will make them relevant in a world where artificial intelligence (AI) is redefining the work terrain.
Speaking during the MCA finale dinner in Lilongwe on Friday, the firm’s group finance director Pride Phiri urged the graduates to be open to learn progressive neoteric ideas and unlearn retrogressive orthodox practices.

“In this regard, personal mitigation programmes are needed to adapt and survive,” he said.
In his remarks, MCA Lilongwe acting campus director Humphrey Matimbe advised the graduates to use their skills and innovations to impact the world positively.
In his virtual address, Jacob Mazalale, who is adviser to the executive director of the World Bank Africa Group One Constituency, urged the graduating students to avoid minimalist thinking and look for opportunities beyond Malawi borders.—The Nation
