As one way of spreading the gospel, Fountain of Victory International Ministries based in Blantyre last week introduced SMS mobile services for TNM subscribers.

Speaking after launching the services, the ministry’s resident pastor Lloyd Bwilani said the initiative seeks to help those in need of counseling and to encourage people to read the word of God.

“We want to give people the opportunity to send their prayer requests to Pastor Joseph Ziba who is the founder of the ministry. Many people are in need of his help and this is one way they can use to get in touch with him.

“Apart from the prayer requests, we have introduced an SMS Bible quiz where Christians will be getting questions from the Bible and if they answer correctly, they stand a chance to win K100 000 as the first prize,’’ said Bwilani.

He urged people to participate in the platform.

“Those who are interested should send the word ‘start’ to 52282 and they will get an acknowledgement that they have entered. For those who want to send prayer requests, their message should start with the word ‘pray’ while those who want to follow the pastor’s schedule should be type the word ‘events’ and send it to 52282,’’ said Bwilani.
