Multichoice fetes Salima customers

Digital satellite television provider, Multichoice Malawi, last weekend treated its Salima customers to a cocktail.

During the event, which aimed at creating a platform for mutual understanding, customers asked questions on services Multichoice offers.

“A customer is a core objective of our everyday business. We, therefore, decided to take time to meet them and listen to what they want in an effort to improve our services as well as products,” said Multichoice Malawi sales and marketing executive for Central and Northern regions MacRhonnex Kaulembe.

Among the questions that took centre-stage was pay per view, where customers want to pay for what they want to watch.

“That facility is expensive and that is why it is unavailable in Africa. Only people in UK and US enjoy this service and it is because they have the financial muscle to do that. If it were introduced in Malawi, people would not like it because you pay more for whatever you want to watch,” explained Kaulembe.

During the function, Multichoice handed over a K400 000 ($1 000) Samsung TV screen to one of the winners in the ongoing Rewards Promotion.
