Mudiwa: We are also offering banking online

Standard Bank took opportunity of their Lifestyle 24/7 Golf Tournament in Nchalo to showcase its electronic platform aimed at providing ease of banking to its customers.

Among others, the bank is expected to showcase the smart phone finance package with Samsung, dubbed Lifestyle 24/7.

Speaking during the prize presentation ceremony at Nchalo Golf Club, the bank’s chief executive officer Charles Mudiwa said the package is backed by the bank’s recently upgraded information technology (IT) platform for Internet-based business and personal banking services.

“We are offering Samsung high-end smart phones that are enjoying integration with our improved IT platforms. What this means is that with these the smart phones that Standard Bank is offering on credit, our customers can enjoy uninterrupted Internet-based banking,” he said.

Added Mudiwa: “We are also offering banking online which is business online, an extra service that can enable you to access your business without moving from wherever you are and that means we are there 24/7.”

The tournament gave golfers an opportunity to sample benefits of the smart phone package and the bank’s new Business Online (onBol) service which on the other hand is a platform that caters for corporate clients.

“Some of the golfers are already enjoying these integrated services and this tournament gives them a platform to share their experiences with other potential customers planning to switch to Standard Bank and to join the ‘Moving Forward’ club,” he said.
