Steve Wazisomo Muliya to release ‘Nji’ today
Gospel artist Steve Wazisomo Muliya is set to unveil his latest single Nji today.
The title, which means standing steadily, reminds listeners of God’s presence.
Muliya said in an interview on Saturday that the song is inspired by Psalm 18:2 which says: “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
“As Christians, we face a lot of challenges. But the advantage is that Christ is our rock. We stand strongly despite facing challenges such as financial, material and marital.”
Produced by Bispa, who has worked with Jetu and a video directed by VJ Ken, the song will be available in all online platforms, local and international.
The song’s video director Kenneth Liyada Makina, popularly known as VJ Ken, said the song’s audio and video concepts do not only target the local audience, but also international audience.
“The music video is creative, exceeding people’s expectations. It has been tailored to add depth and colour to the song” he said.
Muliya said there are more upcoming projects, including a video he collaborated with urban gospel artist Success titled Confidence Yanga set for release in October and an on-going work on another collaboration with Shammah Vocals.
