The Chase new features
Leading reality continental series Big Brother Africa, has announced new features that are set to make this session dubbed The Chase more interesting.
Audiences across Africa will be taken on a roller coaster ride with the new features.
The first is the Airtel Arena showdown Head of House swap. Every Friday, the two houses will compete against each other in the showdown at the arena. The winning team’s head of house will be required to swap two housemates from their own house with two housemates from the losing house.
In addition, IK also revealed the ‘Romantic Gesture’ competition – will see the housemates unwittingly competing for the most romantic gesture, as voted by viewers.
“The winning gesture, based on votes at the end of the show, will see that housemate win an amazing prize. This week’s two gestures saw Hakeem asking Cleo out on a date, and the other, the Ruby boys serenading the girls. Viewers can vote via Twitter or on the Facebook. Voting started immediately after the live show,” he said.
Another exciting new feature that housemates and viewers can look forward to is the ‘Crush Wall’ screen. Each housemate gets to select two housemates from the other house that they would like to meet, with the selections happening in the Diary Room on the ‘Crush Wall’ screen.
“The housemate who receives the most Crush votes in each house will get a special reward from Big Brother and get to choose who enjoys the reward with them, making the selection from the people who crushed on them.
“The selections will start this week and the rewards will be delivered in the ‘Rendezvous Room’, which none of the housemates or viewers have seen yet,” he said.
