“Mawhoo will arrive at 12:45pm. Gates at the venue will open at noon and the performances will start at 2pm. It will be a wholesale entertainment, with an infusion of amapiano, the step sensation that is currently trending. We are bringing that experience live,” she said.

The show has also been boosted by the unveiling of a K10 million partnership with local alcoholic spirit marketers CapeStars for the show. As part of the partnership, CapeStars has also provided their alcohol brands for the VVIP section at the show worth K600 000.

CapeStars general manager Darlington Ndasauka said the Mawhoo Experience show promises to be an unforgettable night.

He said: “We have signed a long-term partnership. The relationship between the two brands goes a long way back and they share similar ideals and ambitions. We believe they can tap from each other’s potential to break the borders.”

Mawhoo, real name Thandeka Ntontobeko Ngema, is a singer, songwriter and model. She broke on the scene following the release of her debut single Umshado which features Heavy K.

She is well-known for songs such as Ngilimele, Uzizwa Kanjani, Bengicela and Ngiyathanda.
