Artists wow gospel fans
It was a dancing party for gospel fans as Ndirande Kachere Chisomo Choir launched its first DVD, Menyereni Nkhondo, in the populous township, the group’s home town.
The party started when Ndirande New Living Gospel Women’s Choir dished out their Msaona wa ku Yeriko followed by Prophets of Visions’ Kodi mukundimva.
Guest of Honour Pauline Mtonga encouraged the congregation to support their choirs, saying it is through support that choirs flourish.
“It is only when choirs are supported financially that they forge ahead to compose songs that revive souls of many people spiritually,” she said.
Launching the DVD, Reverend Enos Muhiwa called on members of his congregation to support all choral groups at the church for the promotion of gospel music industry.
“Let us support our choirs for singing is one way of preaching the gospel of Christ. We need as many choirs as we can to preach the gospel,” he said.
