Centurion Guest House Darts tourney finals today
The final of the K250 000 (about $625) Centurion Guest House Darts Tournament is slated for today in Lilongwe.
Group A winners Capital Glass and Joe’s Motel face Mafco and Combat Battalion from Group B in a roundrobin format.
Winners will pocket K60 000 (about $150) whereas runners-up will get K40 000 (about $100) and the third-best team will walk away with K20 000 (about $50). Player of the tournament will receive K10 000 (about $25).
Notable players to watch are Joe Motel’s John Kamboga, the current national team captain, Simon Kaonga of Combat Battalion, Joe Zangazanga, chairperson of the Lilongwe and Districts Darts League (LDDL) and Capital Glass player.
LDDL general secretary James Sangala said the league was thankful to the management of Centurion Guest House for sponsoring the tournament.
