Chitheka Lewis shoots videos for fifth album
Apostle Enesia Chitheka Lewis has embarked on shooting videos for her latest album Nyansadabuza which was released in 2015.
Chitheka Lewis, leading vocalist for Chitheka Family gospel group, said the project to shoot seven of the 10-track album; Nyansadabuza, Thandizo Langa, Zanga Ubweze, Pemphero Langa, Ndagwiritsitsa and Breakthrough would give music fans a chance to watch her songs since she has taken long to perform on stage.
“I am in the process of shooting music videos for my fifth album Nyansadabuza which was released in 2015 for more spiritual impact on my fans as they watch me singing the songs after a long time without holding a show,” she said.
The project is expected to be completed in March but she is yet to unveil plans on its launch and marketing.
“I can’t say much about when it will be launched right now because it will need me to be financially stable. It will be announced in due course.”
She disclosed that well-wishers have offered financial support: “I have some good people who are helping me financially in the project, most of them have been previously blessed with my music.”
This will be the third video production after Msiyeni Mulungu and Mfuneni Ambuye.
Chitheka Lewis also said marketing on the audio album has not been easy as she went for self-vending in the streets of both Blantyre and Lilongwe.
Chitheka Family gospel group was established in 2001 with Apostle Chitheka Lewis as leader and they have released four albums; Msiyeni Mulungu, Mfuneni Ambuye, Mwazi wa Yesu, and Simudzalora.
