Ecobank Malawi keen to build a better Malawi, Africa
Ecobank Malawi says it remains dedicated to build a better Malawi and Africa by accelerating financial integration and economic prosperity.
The bank’s head of consumer banking Sophie Mlumbe said this at Res Pub and Grub in Blantyre during celebrations marking Zimbabwe’s independence day.
Ecobank Malawi’s presence exemplified it’s dedication to providing superior banking solutions and advancing economic development across Malawi and Africa.
The bank joined the event as a featured service provider, demonstrating its innovative banking offerings tailored for diverse customer in 33 African countries.
In her presentation, Mlumbe highlighted a range of innovative products and services tailored for the diaspora Zimbabwean community.
The products include the Ecobank Diaspora Twin Account, which is designed as a companion in cross-border finances along with savings accounts, current accounts, cards and payment and transfer solutions.
She said: “These offerings perfectly aligned with the pillars of a better way, a better Africa, demonstrating our commitment to providing a comprehensive and seamless banking experience across Africa.
“We were delighted to showcase Ecobank Malawi’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge banking solutions that cater to the needs of customers across Africa.”
Various guests attended the event, including the Zimbabwean Ambassador to Malawi Nancy Saungweme, who underscored the importance of cross-border collaboration and financial empowerment.
