End of Fatima’s chase
Malawi’s Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase representative Fatima Nkata said goodbye to the corridors of the Ruby house on Sunday after failing to survive her first nomination.
The 31-year-old was evicted alongside fellow Ruby housemate Hakeem of Zimbabwe.
It was clear since nomination period on Monday that Fatima’s time in the house was running out. She got the highest number of votes for possible eviction.
Fatima knew she would be leaving the house as on Thursday she confided in her friend Elikem that it would be her last Thursday.
Just before IK announced who would be evicted Fatima started laughing.
With a crimson tint to her mohawk, Fatima walked out of the BBA house at exactly 8.22pm. She told compatriot Natasha Tonthola who was crying uncontrollably not to pity her.
“No one escorts me,” she said while fellow Ruby housemates escorted her to the door. Surprisingly, she walked out of the house with a Malawian and Ghanaian flags in her hand.
“Elikem will always be my friend,” she told IK about her friendship with the Ghanaian designer.
