Fatima Nkata, one of the two female Malawians who represented the flag in the reality television show Big Brother Africa The Chase, has joined the ruling People’s Party (PP).
Fatima was introduced to Malawi President Joyce Banda during a development rally the President addressed at Kapedzela Village near Kamphata in the area of Traditional Authority Kalumbu in Lilongwe.
Fatima, 30, represented Malawi alongside compatriot Natasha Tonthola who was evicted a week after her. Natasha, 26, has also expressed interest to join politics by contesting as a member of Parliament.
Two weeks ago, PP also unveiled female dancehall musician Wendy Harawa as its member.
