Kazisonga captains Zimbabwe side

means so much to me
Malawi national women football team captain Chisomo Kazisonga has been entrusted with the captaincy at Zimbabwe side Conduit Soccer Academy (Cosa).
A former Skippers captain confirmed the news on Thursday on Facebook.
Kazisonga, who described the development as a milestone in her football career, said the move caught her unawares.
“This means so much to me. It is not easy to be given that role in a foreign land, more so considering that I have just joined the team. I have been captain before at home in Malawi and I know what it takes to lead a team,” she said.
Kazisonga signed a two-year contract with Cosa, a Guruve-based team which plays in the 10-team Zimbabwe National Women Super League.
She is the country’s first female soccer export.
