Ladies night at Sunbird Mount Soche tomorrow
Barely a week after enjoying rare treats from friends and relatives as part of Mothers’ Day celebrations, women are set to throng Sunbird Mount Soche tomorrow for a ladies night.
Dubbed ‘Summer BBQ night’, the event has been organised by Sunbird Tourism Limited and, according to the company’s public relations officer Akossa Mphepo, this is a continuation of ladies parties founded in 2008.
“We have planned more this time around. It will be a men-free zone. We want ladies to have fun, relax and unwind without feeling that someone is watching or judging them. We have done it in six years and we keep on improving on this experience so that we give our ladies a lot of fun and something to talk about,” said Mphepo.
She added: “Friday is no exception. K10 000 (US$27) gets you in and you can eat barbeque all night long while interacting with others. We have US-based make-up artist and director of OC Cosmetics Omega Nankhuni who will deliver tutorials. Ladies like to mix business with pleasure and this is a perfect platform to network, talk, shop with those in similar professions and form new business deals with other ladies.”
Mphepo added that there will be wine and several prizes to be won and the chapter will close with a dancing session.n
