Lulu, Skeffa to headline Pentecostal Life family day

Music lovers are in for a treat as Pentecostal Life (PL) radio and television is set to hold its much-touted family day on August 3 with musicians such as Skeffa Chimoto, Lulu and Evance Meleka expected to perform.

One of the organisers of the event, Zephaniah Nungu, said the family day will be unique in that it will provide a platform for people to interact with radio personalities on both Pentecostal Life radio and television.

Lulu: I’m more than ready to entertain

He said the event will take place at PL Radio and TV offices at Glory land premises.

“All preparations for the event are almost through and people in Lilongwe will have one of the best weekends full of fun and entertainment,” said Nungu.

He said they have touched base in terms of preparations and are now waiting for the day.

According to Nungu, apart from face painting games, braii and music, the day will start with aerobics from 6 to 8am at Bingu National Stadium.

Lulu, who is promoting his upcoming album Better In Your Arms, has confirmed his participation.

“I am more than ready to entertain people on the day. I have done enough preparations, people should come in large numbers and they will not regret,” he said.

Lulu said he is also excited that PL has provided a platform where he will have a chance to interact with people who promote and love his music.

The radio and television operate under Pentecostal Life Church International which also runs Pentecostal Life University. It was founded by Apostle Professor Kingston Ngwira.
